Veterinary Point-Of-Care Ultrasound For Companion Animal Practice

Veterinary point of care ultrasound (POCUS) techniques are rapid, easy-to- learn, and practical ultrasound skills that any practitioner can apply in everyday practice.

Have you ever found yourself pondering the reasons behind a cat's dyspnea, unable to safely undergo thoracic radiographs? Is it asthma, pleural effusion, or perhaps heart disease that is causing their respiratory distress?

In your practice, have you engaged in debates about the safety of administering IV fluids to a patient? Do you often question when to stop giving IV fluid boluses? And what about those collapsed patients presenting in shock? Have you ever wondered if there might be something crucial in their abdomen that you might be missing?

If any of these scenarios resonate with you, then point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is the answer to your questions!

To help you master the skills of POCUS, we offer a comprehensive learning experience. You will have access to a pre-recorded lecture series that covers the theoretical foundations and practical applications of POCUS. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in an in-person, hands-on laboratory session with live animals.

This is a great addition skill to Veterinarians, Technicians, Nurses and fresh graduates.

Please see our poster and scan QR code for more details!
